I believe this course will be very useful to all Healthcare staff. I found that the refresher really reminded me of what I took away from the first course and also helped me to utilize this knowledge and gave me insight into how to help my coworkers. I thought the examples of speaking to coworkers was extremely helpful and gave me something to think about when I speak to them. I also felt it was great to be refreshed on the hacks to help our brains better handle unintentional biases and I believe I will be able to help my coworkers. I appreciated the PowerPoint count ( # of 50) and also the closed captioning. Honestly I felt like it was all really great and cant think of anything that needs improved upon.

I think these courses really shine where they engage the student in stories and role play, these things help immensely in cementing the information presented as easily digestible concepts and grounding them as real scenarios instead of just concepts.

I learned new information to take away from this course specifically, more valuable information that can be added onto the existing information digested from the first course. I think the information about underlying biases especially in the healthcare field is very useful even for my own personal job. I think the course is very descriptive and straight to the point! Very useful course.

I liked the course and got a lot of information that i will use in my every day life as a physician. I like the strategies they have for reducing unconscious bias including putting yourself in their shoes and acting with empathy. Also getting your patients to trust you. I dont think anything could be improved, I liked that it was interactive, This will be a useful course, all healthcare members should access it.

There was definitely new info, the exact info I thought would have made a really great addition to the initial course itself! How implicit bias works, why it helps us, I feel is a very big key piece to helping people understand and accept that they can and probably will be biased...

I liked the course. It was very informative and had a clear flow. The role-play sections were most useful to me because I could apply the concepts I learned. I did not learn any new information but did review previously known concepts…It will be a useful course for healthcare staff and providers.

In general I feel like it was a very useful course. I appreciated the way the difference between the correct and incorrect response choices were explained thoroughly. All of the mind hacks were helpful and not overly simplistic or complex for most people or unnecessary-seeming. Some of the statistics were new information to me and definitely disappointing. I think this will be very useful to healthcare staff and cant think of any improvements currently.

I think the most valuable thing was learning how to mind hack to avoid implicit bias. I did learn new information about how to remove these subconscious biases in my mind, even if I do not believe they exist in my thinking process…This would be useful for healthcare providers to provide a better standard of care to all their patients.

I loved the refresher! Yes it provided great feedback and advice...I think it would be such a tool for most workers not just people in healthcare.

I think that this course as a refresher was structured well. It covered some new topics, some of the same topics in a different way, and had some callbacks to the first course that we watched. For me, the most valuable aspect of the course itself was the strategies that can be implemented in not only these situations but also in day-to-day life to help combat implicit biases that may arise. Further, I liked that there were statistics, statements from organizations, role-playing, and reflecting back to the content in the previous training session. Overall, I cant think of anything specifically that could be improved with the training module, everything seemed to work perfectly from a tech standpoint, and the information was good…Lastly, I think this would be valuable for healthcare staff and providers. It is a good refresher on the information contained in the first training, offers some strategies for combatting implicit bias, and takes a slightly different angle in communicating the information when compared to the initial course.
